The Art of Changing
The Art of Changing has established a fine reputation twice over: as one of the very best introductions to the Alexander Technique and as a unique exploration of its relationship with the human energy body.
Glen Park begins by explaining Alexander's basic principles with the help of observational exercises and imaginative line drawings. She then applies these principles to emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions, considering the human body as an energy system surrounded by an aura and organised by different chakras or energy centres.

Art of Changing CD
Four guided visualizations for lying down practice
See below for details
I am delighted to tell you that my new Art of Changing CD is now available to order, and it looks absolutely lovely!
The CD has four
twenty minute tracks on it. They are all designed to be listened to while
lying in semi-supine.
The first is a bodyscan.
The second is a shorter bodyscan, followed by a way of thinking about the
Alexander directions.
The third suggests working with light energy to bring about releasing changes
in the body, also working with Alexander directions.
The fourth one works with light energy and the chakras.
The four tracks (approx 20 minutes each) which are all designed to be listened
to while lying in semi-supine.
The first two tracks are an ideal practical introduction to Alexander's principles.
The first track works with inhibition, the second with inhibition and direction.
They are excellent for new pupils who are learning how to think while lying
in semi-supine, and also a great aid
for more experienced students who want to improve their thinking about themselves.
Teachers who run groups have found them a valuable resource, because they
can play a track
while the group lies in semi-supine and have time to check that the members
of the group are lying down in a beneficial way.
The third and fourth tracks also work with the principles of the Alexander
Technique, using the concept of light energy flowing through the body.
Some pupils find this visual way of giving directions is very powerful.
The fourth track also introduces the concept of the Chakras which complements
the Alexander Principles and encourages a release throughout the spine.
